"This shop is a must when going to Georgetown! My husband & I have always had a great experience there. We love buying our ornaments there, they even disappear into the back for a bit to find the exact box for each ornament. I can't understand why people are putting one star reviews simply because they were not allowed to take pictures of the items. These are hand made items, and therefore considered intellectual property. They are just trying to keep people from copying their unique designs. How entitled you must be to expect to take pictures of someone else's work. Try that in an art gallery, you'll be kicked out!!!!"

"While in Georgetown I stumbled across this amazing antique store and purchased a couple items from there. The lady that helped me was was so amazing and so knowledgeable about stones and helped me pick out this very unique piece.

"Although we have visited Georgetown several times we had never been in Ophelia's. What a delightful gallery of treasures! We collect artist-painted Russian Matryoshkas (nesting dolls) which are increasingly difficult to find so we were immediately drawn to a curated display. The gallery owner, Julia, showed us several dolls and explained that she purchases them directly from a Russian woman. We enjoyed a conversation about these collectibles, then admired the extensive display of jewelry and made a purchase. Thank you, Julia, for a memorable time in your store. We will see you on our next visit to Georgetown!"
